How much is ur life worth?

On Sat morning, I receive an sms from my friend that his mum has passed away. This would have been a normal, a complicated task with a big hoo-ha to many others.

But my friend has no time to grief.. Having close to penniless.. he has to go around looking for help for a proper burial..
At the end of the day, it was a simple affair with nothing to bear with and a lot to part with. As a friend, I have nothing that I can do to help. As per tradition, I can do nothing to help.
Thanks to all the kind souls that did their part to help, making things that seem impossible, possible.

Reflecting on the past year and the chain of events.

In the bid to write better RJ, maybe for once, I'll do a reflection and I hopes it would help in my grades.

Looking back at the things which will never come back, I realised that I had gain and lost quite a number of things. I've found new friends, lost contact with some of them. Gain some insights of life which I can do nothing about it.

After so many years, I can conclude that I do no and will not have any luck in gambling yet every now and then I would like to try for some at the local "pools" shop.

There are somethings that I could never change or run away from, when I'm stressed or bored, the only thing that I would turn to is gaming.

Gaming is like smoking, once u start it, you'll be addicted for life. Well, almost lol ..

Well, it's nice to have a companion everynow and then there are always things that we could only share with no one but the closest one. But I'm never been much of a sharing person. Thank you and sorry.

Life is such a bore. Unable to be in control makes things worst and not to say being broke. How can I break through the provety cycle? Who can I really depend on? Is there anything else to do other than the life cycle everyone goes through?

Birthdays and Chinese New Years are the worst days I will have to go through yearly. Well, I get my "red packets, presents" and humiliation. Either working on Bdays or having to do things that I do not want to do.

I hate chinese new years. Hypocritical Blood-related relatives pretending to be friendly and such. Damn, it's sad to be laugh at.. Having no place to go and nothing to eat either.. I've always had a big appeitite and I would get scolded during the season when I eat too much.

Run away Run away... How am I to move on? , when will I be in control?, where can I get my freedom?, what can I do to escape my destiny?, why am I Still here?
Is there any where I could go? Are there any heaven or hell ?

What we learnt in school is not as accurate as the actual fact.
For example, the reason Singapore become Successful does not depend solely on tat 1 person.

We would have to give appreication to Mr Albert Winsemius.

Albert Winsemius (1910-1996), a Dutch economist, was Singapore's long-time economic advisor from 1961 to 1984. He led the United Nations Survey Mission to Singapore, and was to play a major role in the formulation of Singapore's national economic development strategy.

In 1960, Dr Winsemius led the United Nations team to examine Singapore’s potential in industrialization. At that time, Singapore had just attained self-government and was facing high unemployment and growing population. He presented a 10-year development plan to transform Singapore from an entrepot trade port into a centre of manufacturing and industrialization.

His first emphasis was on creating jobs and attracting foreign investment. Labor intensive industries, such as the production of shirts and pajamas, were expanded. He also encouraged the large-scale public housing programme, believing that it would bolster the country's image, thus attractive to investors. HMM.. the nice Chicken Wing noodles around my neighbour hood :)
Guess wad it onli cost $1.80
It used to cost $1.20 when i'm in primary sch ..

My neighbour told me tat it used to cost 50cent..

Oh well.. Hmm this stalls also sells chicken feet and wanton noodles too ..
You can order a combo of chicken feet, wing and wanton and it will not cost more than $3.
Cheap right : )

Those who cook, u should know that overcooked noodles goes soggy ..
When noodles are served, u'll have to stir abit so that the sauce will be absorbed by the mee ..
And then wala .. cheap and nice food : )

Weird Customers..

"Customers are Always Right" Only if they respect the one providing the service..

Nowadays more weird and more idiotic customers can be seen around...
They pork then they go buy chicken ..

Customer : eh I wan this this.. ( finger point form far far at a range of products)
Me : umm which one??
Customer : Got Pork one or not ? ( see they dunno wat to get, anyhow point and anyhow ask)
Me : This, This and this .. ( I point to them using my finger touching the products.)
Customer : ah .. that one white mushroom one. What is it ?
Me : Chicken.
Customer : okay give me 4 "slide" ... ( slices..)
Me: .... ( say wan pork, but see the price go buy chicken....)

So as u can see..haiz.. this does not happen to me once or twice le ..
Been working for the past 2 years .. every week sure can see at least 2-5 cases like this de..

Live within my means..

Was a heritic week last week..
Had lots of fun, classmates gone crazy, bdays celebration and alot of cash wasted.

Well a good thing to be with friends and so on, but then one will tend to forget oneself and does stupid things.

Must remind myself that I lived on a budget and only has that budget..

Today, on my way back home from work. Was thinking of what to do for the rest of the day..
Then I was abt to walk pass this group of people that work for a certain group some bank i think.

From far one of them already approach me and say excuse me to get my attention.
I did not want to be entertained as I'm a broke and a student.. Couldn't even make ends meet on certain days..

So in my mind I was thinking fuck off lar and was thinking of waving them off. But my brain malfunctioned.. I give that poor female a _|_ ....

As it was during off peak hours, their collegues were chit chatting with each other, the _|_ brought peace to the surroundings.

Hmm.. I wanted to say sorri.. but then realli lar.. she bad luck, wrong person at the wrong time.

Why do people want to hao lian?

Why Do Rp Sux ?

Well .. since I got nothing better to do, I'll juz complain and make another note on why RP sux.

We all know in singapore, everything has standards, learning standards teaching standards.

Most of us might know that Rp sux becos of the learning method, did anyone think abt the teaching methods?

For one, the way that each facilitator teaches is different, some are kind and slow and ready to guide u and make u think.

Well alot are impatient, part timers, press "F1" for help sort of things.

You see, Our Sch motto, "LEArning With A difference" includes teaching with a difference. An open concept learning and facilitating enviroment.
When U r stuck at the problem, they tell us to think, further questioning would tell u the answer is at google or F1 button on ur laptop.

Kudos to the systems.. More good years ahead. lol
